这是我第一个被订的蛋糕，看着自己的成果被人肯定，真的好开心啊!
这个蛋糕是我在登山前通宵赶做的(由于匆忙, 今天才把照片发上来)，由于接到电话已经是晚上7点了，对方要求第二天早上7点来取。在这么短的时间内做一个蛋糕，我还真是没有信心！不过狠心想想，第一个蛋糕耶！于是便咬咬牙答应了。
对方的工作是专门清除公路上的事故车，坏车和障碍物，因此他希望我能做一个代表他们特色的蛋糕！我左思右想，稿纸都画了十多张了，最后决定先用翻糖做一辆他们的清障车再说！蛋糕的整个设计都是自己蒙出来的，由于时间太紧，也没有参照的机会。清障车的模样是我根据网上（他们的网址）的实际图片做的！铁链是我最喜欢的部分。本来要做灰色，由于太累，又想铁链在阳光下会发蓝光，所以做了蓝色！其他的小东东（轮胎，螺丝，石头，沙路等等）是边做边加的，正前方还有他们的logo!
做完之后看了一下， 自己觉得设计还不错！这种造型蛋糕真的很有意思，比做花的构想空间大，真希望以后能有机会多做几次!(观看更多图片, 请点击标题)
Before trip to Norway, i got a phone call from a friend and he wanted to order a fondant cake for next day’s party! My first customer asked for a special cake which he could see his company’s logo inside! In Sweden, his job is to move away the trash or broken cars on traffic roads, somthing like that. That’s why i designed this cake. I made a figure from his truck according to the picture on their website, and then, add other small details gruadually. I love this cake even more than my other flower cakes. It gives me more free space to think and create!

They didn’t eat that cake – did they? I bet they keep it in a glass cabinet! Huh, you spend a lot of your time doing small things like this while for Carl 5 seconds to open a X3F file in Lightroom is not fast enough. I am dreaming of a cake like this (and also of those 5 seconds…)

I looked a moment at Carl’s old weblog and pictures that he put up. Lots of memories there, and seems not long ago.
Somehow I think of a kind of memory tapestry, and wonder if you can make something like this which expresses China, Sweden, China and Sweden in relationship, corners of a city.
Don’t mind me – you don’t have to do all this. But I wonder, can you paint in some way (safe to eat) on a decoration for a cake?
Or maybe it is not to be eaten. As others suggest: maybe something to save for a cake. Or not for a cake at all.

I like your idea! i would like to make all kinds of different figures, houses, animals, angels, nature, budda……you know, anything you can imagine. But right now i only make some cakes for certain purpose because i need enough time and economy for my extra hobby…and actually, i am dreaming for a nice cake shop somewhere in the city, it doesn’t have to be very big but nice atomosphere with my designed cakes, just like what you said, a mixed cultural cake..hhhh…
And by the way, cake like what i did is made by sugar paste. All icing colors is eatable, including glitter, petal dust and luster dust. And if i use a cake dummy under instead of a real cake, then i can keep it forever.

Are there any cake collectors? I mean, people collect stamps, coins, pictures, photos and looking at your cakes it would not be strange they begin collecting cakes, also

i have to say you are so cute!
i don’t know, but , there are some very big fondant cake competitions every year in Japan, America and England. After that, i think they will put the champion and some other special cakes in the exhibition area~~~but i don’t think my cake can reach that level, at least not now~~hope in the future~~

Some competitions are only about craftmenship. Your cake looks sooo creative and like art. I wonder how well it could compete? As long people eat up your artworks at least take wonderful photos of them and – of course – show the pictures to ME
