I really love these puppies! They’re soooo cute! Blind and death as they are. In another week they will open their eyes, will have another session then!

Yes, the puppies are marvelous .

I kind of thought there was something about Ester’s manner, in pictures recently.

Now I think she was being shy, as a manner of a mother who wants not to be noticed, to protect the pups that will come.

Hope you are not working too hard. You and Carl never tell what work you do, so we can only guess. In these days, everyone has things to do, and they build the future whatever they are.

I am reading from time to time in ‘The Importance of Living’, which is not exactly what it sounds. It is by a famous two-cultures Chinese named Lin Yutang, and is his sometimes rather humourous and interesting way of introducing Chinese culture to the West, which he also knew well. It is from 1937, and I knew it from my father’s library.
