Carl and his friend Fillip planed something, I could feel it!
Very soon after, Fillip came to our home with a big container. A lot of dry ice and – 200 degrees ice water inside! There is only one purpose which is to~~~~~~~TAKE PHOTOS!!! I also took some by chance. They are not so fancy as Carl’s but maybe a little bit cool!!!:)

  • Linn you took some REALLY nice photos!!! These are great!! Good work in Lightroom too.. I remember you was a bit dangerous. Me and Thunderlance (Filip) we was a bit afraid of all this cold stuff but you, you just played around! Funny. We should be that part, not you! :D

    Fancy photos my dear!

Quite cool :) Girls can do something by heart what men have to train a long time for. I don’t think this is fair :/

Linn, these are really very nice.

I especially like the two first flowers, just very nice to look at, for the eye.

And I also especially like the last one, for its mystery which attracts the eye.

Your own talent shows, your own ways. That is very nice, and gets a smile here.

    Best regards,
    Clive

    Carl,

hhh….you didn’t dare to be close to them…:)
and thank you for the help in Lightroom.

    To spalbird,

I believe boys can do something by heart, too and it can be marvelous!

    To Clive,

Thank you for your words, which courage me a lot!
I would like to go further in this manlike digital world and hope can make a big wave in the ocean..hihihi…just joking!

  • spalbird says:

To Linn, they can do but need a life of training – thats the problem :)

  • WindInYews says:

Linn, I feel sure you can. Just, the best is when you do what you individually best feel, and this will always be different than ‘the manlike’.

This makes the world richer. I remember explaining this to a woman who worked for me, in a field where women were new. And as I told her, every time she worked to solve a problem, not only was the result very fine, but it was also very different.

I – and those influenced by the results – really valued that.

    Best,
    Clive

  • Liu Dong yun says:

    To Jean,

I am just an eavesdropper here, listening in for a moment to the chinese, as Google’s translator gets better.

Your advice sounds good, Linn. I am thinking of another to add. When we see the teapot by you, as well as Carl, there are many values from other art in it. In particular, painting, of Asian and also somewhat Post-Impressionist designs.

I might suggest to Jean that the way to take interest enough in the tools, as you suggest, is also to give oneself more and more experiences of art. Particularly the art that is new enough, but has had time so that the better works are known to us, to see.

I guess there is much opportunity for this in China, where so much art has been done – and seems to me a value increasing in society today.

My idea is also that who understands modes of art better, will give photographs which are of a different nature, which I think we really enjoy. Maybe this is some of the resistance to the camera, until it gives this.

And here I am back to what I complimented in your eye also Linn.

    Regards to both,
    Clive

  • Liu Dong yun says:

    To Clive,

I think you already said what i want to say! Jean will be very happy to hear that! :)

Clive, Sometimes, i think, from your thoughtful ideas and your way of talking, you are not young anymore. You have a lot of stories and your heart is peaceful after having lived in great happiness and misery! You enlighten me! Especially your mysterious connection with Asia and complicate feeling about it make me smile so many times! I don’t know how to answer you, but i understand your words and hope that you can see my smile! :)

    Linn

  • WindInYews says:

Linn, all this is very nice indeed to hear from you. Thank you.

And I didn’t find your answer here until Christmas Day, when I thought of something else I wanted to look for, so it is a present ;) .

Am I young?? Funny thing is that I was just thinking about that, a few minutes ago — in fact, thinking about my beloved Grandmother when I was growing up. One of the things her own Norwegian daughter appreciated about her was that she always kept partly a way of a child, and it was delightful. This grandmother was a quite well educated woman, also. And she was my real friend, among all those young she treated as ‘small persons’. Everyone remarked on it.

    I wonder if I explained ;) .

Merry Christmas, Linn. And you know to Carl.

lol
Happy New Year~
