    朵朵,最近都没有和你联系,给认得四川发生大地震了,毁灭性呢,很严重.中国今年多灾多难,现在全国都沉浸在悲痛中,今天起到22日为全国哀悼日,下半旗,默哀三分钟,停止公共娱乐活动.哎,2008真是太不吉祥了,你在那边得到些什么消息么来讲讲.

    四川地震我早就知道了！5 月11日是卡雷生日，12号中午（中国应该是晚上19点）我就看到瑞典头条新闻“中国四川发生7.5级(现在更正到8级)大地震”！我马上就打电话给我爸妈，还好他们说大理没有感觉，要不然我心脏都要跳出来哦！后来我在QQ上看到马益也没有事情，我就放心哦，云南应该不是很严重。15号我又面临瑞典语大考，所以最近一！直忙得头晕脑涨！不过我每天都关注新闻呢！

    国外的新闻快得很！特别是关于中国！现在中国是全世界的焦点：奥运会，西藏，四川地震，人权，独生子女，宗教，缅甸等等，那样不是围着中国转！前久西藏问题的时候，哥德堡的中国留学生还在市中心游行！每天报纸写中国，每天广播都谈中国！好的有，流言非语呢也很多，说不清楚！无论中国的政府有什么错误，我肯定是站在中国的立场为国人说话的！

    关于哀悼三天我已经知道哦！我决定这三天都穿黑衣服！听说今晚四川有6到7级的余震，你们也要小心点！

    小何，我好想你啊！我爹让我八月份回来，他们为我和卡雷准备了两张奥运会的票！但是我们还没有决定到底去不去，机票实在是太贵了，从北京还要买到昆明的机票，而且我爹心里面还另有打算！所以我和卡雷要再讨论一下！

    don’t worry – I haven’t forgotten where you are ;)

    But there is something about the photo style, the way light is expressed. As well as the girl….!

    Once I saw a film, The White Ship, which was from the Khirgiz, and was entirely photographed with this light. Also one by Yilmaz Gul, I think, unusual of Turkey, which had also some of it, and other light all his own.

    The Turkish film: Yol, directed by Yilmaz Güney. Very fine to see, a very interesting kind of romance if you call it that, and much more.

    Here is a place to get the dvd, perhaps the only one, out of Tulumba which is in New York. Is region 2 for Europe, has English, French, German subtitles. 1982, so memory wasn’t too bad.
